How to Take a Sexy Boudoir Selfie – Hair Edition

Continuing on with our boudoir selfie series (here is Part 1, in case you missed it), I would like to introduce you to Rachel. She does hair for Haute Shots sessions and is here today with some ideas for styling your hair for a selfie. She is also sharing the images she took for her own boudoir selfies to go along with this post too! Looking good, Rachel!!!

Hi my name is Rachel, and I am the hairstylist for Haute Shots. Today I'm going to give you some super fast and easy tips to help you achieve super sexy hair for a boudoir selfie!

Innocent Braids

The first tip I'm going to give is so easy anyone can do it! For the girl who's going for more of an innocent boudoir selfie look just throw your hair into pigtails or pigtail braids. Something as simple as that can help give your selfie that naughty school girl feel.

Sexy Wet Hair

I personally think damp hair can be very sexy, it can give your boudoir selfie that just out of the shower look! For this just grab a spray bottle of water and mist your locks. Then spray a little sea salt texturizing spray though out your hair and a little volumizing hair spray ( my personal favorite is Big Sexy Spray and Play) then voila! You have a sexy wet hair look!

Big Volume Hair

For my last tip I'm going to give you some pretty easy tips to achieve one of the most popular boudoir looks, big volume hair! For this you will need a few velcro rollers or hot rollers ( if you don't have either if those a few empty coke cans will work too). Just make a few sections in the top of your hair where you like to have volume and roll them up! If your using velcro rollers or cans just apply some heat with your blow dryer for a few minutes. The very last step to getting those big sexy tresses is to flip your head over and spray some volumizing hairspray while shaking your head around a bit.
