things I like lately

The basement living room is starting to feel like home.
This week is my winter break and I'm spending as much time as possible in the new house cleaning, unpacking boxes and organizing. WE ARE MOVING IN! Hopefully we will spend our first night here during the weekend. I'm beyond words excited about this.

Life has been pretty intense lately, but here are a few things I like (ALWAYS trying to notice the good things in life):

- the hugs Sara gave me when I came home after a whole week away
- glorious sunny days that felt like spring
- this post by Tiril
- finding snowdrops in our garden - I'm so excited to see how our new garden will develop during spring and summer
- excited about Heidi's new cookbook
- the wi-fi in our house is working (we accidentally damaged the fiber cable during the drainage work this autumn)

Things I don't like lately

- being down with a terrible cold during the 8th grade camp week (leirskole) - no skiing for me
- being very, very impatient about the house renovation - I need my own home NOW
- should grade student papers and start writing my own paper which is due in a week - instead I'm working in the house
