'70s Trend
Madewell field jacket (on sale!) ASOS t-shirt dress Forever 21 wool hat and gladiator sandals 3.1 Phillip Lim round sunglasses Chloé small "Marcie" crossbody bag
For some trends, I prefer to test them out first, like these ASOS round sunglasses I bought last year and liked so much that I decided to invest in this pair from Phillip Lim. I'm now testing out these Forever 21 gladiator sandals, which I like (especially for the price), and if the trend lasts, I'll look into a more quality pair. I built this whole outfit around these '70s round sunglasses, but I wanted to keep the look modern. When dressing in the likeness of an era, I choose about 2-3 items (round sunglasses, hat though not floppy, and gladiator sandals) to avoid looking too much like Jackie from That '70s Show.
