Jean Jacket | Jean Skirt

So far in this Jean Jacket journey, we’ve paired it with jeans for a casual weekend, and black pants for work or an evening out. Today’s look is a colorful combo that makes my ninth grade self so happy…the jean skirt! If you’re around my age, chances are you owned a jean skirt at one point in your life…and maybe you’re a little shocked to see it’s return!

But it’s back with a new, super-flattering shape, and is such a versatile piece! Basically anything you’d pair with jeans or shorts, looks darling with this skirt.

The higher rise helps to define the waist, and the slight a-line shape is a flattering fit for all body shapes. It is a tad on the shorter side, so I’d reserve it for more casual occasions, and pair it with wedges, flip-flops, or sneakers only.

Fit Tip: I have a small waist, so I sized down one so it would fit on my natural waist, as opposed to sitting lower on my hips.I’m wearing a 25.

This skirt is so versatile, I know I’ll get a ton of wear out of it this Summer. I can’t wait to wear it with a tee or tank, and sneakers…but that will have to wait until we’re home because Scandinavia is cold! We even had snow on the ship!

We’re docking back in Denmark today, and saying goodbye to our dear Princess Cruises family. Mr. SP and I are going to explore Copenhagen on our own for a couple of days, then it’s back to Big D and our babes. I’m so ready to hug their sweet faces!
