The Chef iQ Smart Cooker isn’t my first electric pressure cooker, but it is the first one I’ve used that has smart features like internet-connected WiFi, touch controls, and a color display panel. While at first glance it looks a lot like other e-pressure cookers on the market, I found the design quite stylish with its matte black metal exterior and glossy piano-black glass control panel. It’s an aesthetic that demands to be left out on the counter and seen.
The Chef IQ pressure cooker exceeded my expectations in every way! Last year, I purchased a quality pressure cooker for my wife, but I never enjoyed cooking with it myself. I’m a sucker for technology though and the Chef IQ pressure cooker is packed full of it! Initial setup required I download the Chef IQ app, sync the pressure cooker to my phone via Bluetooth, and setup WiFi so it could download a firmware update. Once the firmware update completed, it was smooth sailing.
