How Holly does Summer....

As much as I enjoy donning a bit of sun tan lotion and having a luridly coloured lolly to lick, I struggle sartorially during the summer months as it means having to lose many of my beloved layers of clothing! Much of my aesthetic depends on being an almost human 'mille feuille' of clashing colours, patterns and textures, and it's a bit trickier to do this in simple shorts and T-shirt! Nonetheless I still endeavour to be bring a trillion rainbow-hued elements together even in the sweltering heat and this is just one such example. It would be much simpler to put on a casual tea dress or pair of denim cut offs, but you just can't beat a bit of ribbon, tie-dye, Aztec print, frills, leopard print and pom-poms - especially when they are all having a party on your body all at once!
Anyway I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine and making the most of getting your knees out in true British fashion?
