London Fashion Week A/W 13 -Street Stylin'

This season I was at last able to shun the cringey 'blogger' label, in exchange for a far more sophisticated badge. Yes, being the superstar of Welsh TV that I have recently become I was awarded a shiny 'Broadcasters' pass for the duration of London Fashion Week, which put a right meaty grin on me face!
This meant that I could swan into shows like a cocky wanker with my crappy handicam and pose as a real life media mogul! It was so nice to be in the thick of the camera flashes and tripods in the press pit; I think I even fooled the pros with my quiet mutterings of 'shutter speed' and 'aperture'!
In between doing my day jobs I was lucky enough to see many a catwalk show; highlights included multi-hued transvestites and burlesque artists on the runway at Ziad Ghanem, full frontal fanny showings at from Pam Hogg, messages of apathy emblazoned in sequins at Ashish, delicious coloured fur from Nova Chiu and gorgeous patterns from Dans La Vie. It was refreshing to see a more diverse range of models of different shapes/sizes this season too, with hardly a whiff of size zero induced vomit backstage ! ;-)
There was however a lot of dull-ass blacks and browns on the catwalk this season, both on and off-schedule. Even the usually more avant garde designers seemed to be producing more commercial and wearable pieces. It's a shame really; for me the catwalks represents opulence, gratuitous design and imagination - I don't want to be seeing clothes that are too easy for Topshop and Peacocks to replicate!
I was also gutted that I missed my faves Louise Gray and Fam Irvoll on Monday, but I was otherwise engaged filming another exciting project that will be revealed soon ('sword swallowing' is all I'm mentioning right now!)
Anyway, you will be able to view the fruits of my labour when my London Fashion Week item is screened online and on S4C's 'Y Lle' next Thursday. In the meantime I'll leave you with some banging street style pics to whet your fash-ppetite...
* Disclaimer - I don't generally do a J. Saville and put my arms around under age girls. It just so happened that there were some super stylish tweens at fashion week this season*
Anyway, another frickin' bad ass post is coming your way very soon. A little clue for you:

"Muppet, muppet. Shut it, shut it. Smell and lick my drug gusset" !!!!
