we are Erena and Mereana, a couple of wahine (“stylish young ladies”) from Aotearoa (New Zealand). We wanted to share our love of fashion and interiors with you all and so home becomes her was hatched.
We love the idea of how personal style and outfit assembly can transcend the mediums of interior design and architecture. For instance, how you dress your home and how you dress yourself make for an interesting comparison, don’t you think? (We think so!)
Homebecomesher reflects these comparisons in a fun and interesting way; body to building, dresses to dwellings, clothing to construction, architecture to apparel, etc, etc, you get the idea. We love to document the connections that influence and inspire your dressing and home decorating challenges.
But mostly we just want to have fun, explore connections and share them with you through our blog. Given that we’re both ‘visual’ people we prefer to let the pictures do the talking so you’ll see lots of lovely pictures and not much jargon (most of the time)!
