Classic Colonial Home Design
Recently designed and built by The Fox Group – one of the finest builders in Utah (previously featured here), this classic Colonial home exudes beauty and elegance. The clients and the designer wanted to create a traditional white home true to scale and proportions of the 1800’s and this home was built using the very finest materials and details inside and outside. The result is a home that will certainly stand the test of time and overcome any home decor trend.

Classic Colonial Home Design
The black front door, painted in Benjamin Moore Onxy (custom mix), is a classic addition to this breathtaking two-story ceiling.
Flooring is 12×12 Black Nero marble (similar here) with 12×12 White Carrara marble flooring (similar here).
Lighting is Visual Comforts Lancaster E. F. Chapman chandelier (not shown).
Paneling
The foyer also features raised panel wainscoting throughout.

Pillows: Custom with Schumacher fabric cabanon stripe.
Paint Color
Paint color on the all the wainscoting, trim and walls is Benjamin Moore Simply White.

Classic White Kitchen
If you read my blog for some time now you know that I like many types of kitchen, but when it comes to kitchen cabinetry, you simply can’t go wrong with white. We can see all types of kitchens, black, grey, stained wood, navy blue… we can love all of them but a classic white kitchen with white marble like this one will always look current.
Countertop & Backsplash: Carrara marble countertops and backsplash.
Runner: Momeni.
Artwork: Custom oil paintings (similar here & here).
Hardwood Flooring: Floors are a select grade 5 inch white oak plank stained in a natural matte Bona finish – similar here & here.

Kitchen Cabinet Details: Inset custom painted maple traditional elegant shaker style cabinets painted in Benjamin Moore OC-117 Simply White to match the wainscoting.

This gorgeous and practical mudroom features custom window-seats flanking a custom-built desk with White Oak countertop.

Exterior
This home is majestic and yet very welcoming. Notice the herringbone brick pathway and the real copper gutters.
The exterior paint color was custom to match the white wood windows.
