Whirlwind

It has been a crazy, amazing couple of weeks - or months - if I really stop to think about it. I celebrated my birthday at the top of the Hancock Tower in Chicago with friends and some fabulous champagne last week, finished a huuuuuge project at work today, got promoted and have spent too many weekends to count having adventures with lovely husband C. I couldn't help but smile when I looked back over my Instagram moments of loveliness over the last few weeks (inspired by the gorgeous Vanisha - follow her on instagram @vanishavakaoti and check out her blog here).Out in NYC one night, a heartfelt message in NOLA, brunching in the West Village, colourful flowers on Bleecker St, my favourite new handbag and delicious colourful cupcakes in Soho. Celebrating my birthday with friends and Veuve in Chicago, NOLA in the evening, view of Chicago from Hancock Tower, Independence Day fireworks from our rooftop, the Chicago Bean and late night dinner in NYC.Lovely husband C. and I are flying to Perth, Australia on Friday to visit my mum, I'm going wedding dress shopping with my sister and then we're heading over to Melbourne to go to M&A's wedding... we are looking forward to what will surely be an amazing couple of weeks.
