Office Supplies To Keep You Motivated

{inexpensive ways to get motivated at the office}

It’s officially February. Regardless of whether you have kept up with your New Year’s resolutions or not, this time of year we all need a bit of a motivation boost. If you’re anything like us, the right office supplies can do the job relatively inexpensively (and if not, then maybe it’s time to take that long-awaited vacation to a tropical destination!).

So, here is what is on our office supply wish list this month:

A print (or two). Inspirational prints are making a comeback (and they’re not the cheesy kind promoting teamwork that were displayed on our elementary school walls). For example, this “Keep Not Settlingprint is the perfect piece of art to frame above your desk. Or, if you need a serious kick in the butt to make things happen, check out Lara Casey’s desk cards, like the “Make It Happen” foil card or the “Handwriting Desk Card” to inspire you to do all those things you’ve always wanted to do. Dreaming of Paris? This photograph is absolutely stunning and would make such chic office decor!

A good agenda. 2015 might be underway, but sometimes it takes getting a new planner to get us checking things off our lists as quickly as we write them down. Some of our favorites include: The Day Designer, The Simplified Planner, and The Kate Spade Agenda.

Pretty accessories. Pens, tape dispensers, pencils, coffee cups or sticky notes – what office supplies motivate you to get things done? Personally, we can’t resist a pretty coffee cup. On the go, we love this “Success is not for the lazy” tumbler. For the office, we love a monogrammed mug, like this one from Anthropologie. Or, for those of you who love a pretty pattern on your office supplies, check out Jonathan Adler’s collection for Barnes and Nobles. Other personal favorites include this monogrammed letter sorter and pencils with motivational sayings from the Design Darling shop.

What accessories get you into a productive mood at work?
