In Detail Interiors

This beach house kitchen designed by Cheryl Kees Clendenon of Pensacola-based In Detail Interiors inspired me on so many levels! Located in Fort Morgan, Alabama across from the ocean, the colorful kitchen (captured by Greg Riegler) is not only stylish and functional, it is also budget-conscious! The designer splurged on the striking counter-to-ceiling wall of Hirsch Glass turquoise tiles, which mirrors the ocean views on other walls of the home. I absolutely love it paired with the roman shades made with a beautiful Romo fabric! The different colored cabinetry adds a ton of dimension to the space too, and is a great way to mix up the design elements without spending much more money. The pop of color from the single teal upper cabinet painted Calypso Blue by Benjamin Moore, the designer’s signature hue, is fantastic! Head on over to Style Blueprint to read all about this inspiring project! And if you loved this, you have to see another amazing turquoise kitchen by interior designer Cheryl Clendenon here–it’s one of my all-time favorites!
