My love affair with the Eames chair

If I had pick the ultimate combination of style and comfort, it’d be the Eames chair. It’s a state of the art chair. So beautiful, elegant and timeless like few other pieces of furniture that I’ve ever seen.

Designed in 1956 by Charles and Ray Eames this lounge chair is the pinnacle of comfort, quality and craftsmanship. It’s iconic shape has made it the epitome of mid-century modern furniture. There is no such thing as style over substance with the Eames chair. It has got style… And substance in abundance.

If you’re (like me) on a limited budget and can’t afford to pay ££££ for an original (unless you speak fluent ebay), then there are a few quality replicas out there which make MCM style available for the slightly smaller purse.
