MF DOOM and Madlib's 'Madvillainy' Four Tet Remixes Return on Vinyl

Four Tet's remixes of MF DOOM and Madlib's revered collaborative project Madvillainy is finally re-releasing on vinyl.

Stones Throw is bringing back the collaborative work with two sleeves this time around — the first being a comic artwork exclusively for Stones Throw, and the other an 8-bit version of the original album art for record stores around the world. The famed record label also shared that the track "Rhinestone Cowboy" is a remix of the remix — DOOM took an interlude from Four Tet's remixes, looped it, made a new beat and then re-recorded the vocal.

The 22-track Madvillainy project originally dropped in March 2004, and 10 cuts received the Four Tet remix treatments in February 2005.

Stream Madvillain's "Great Day" (Four Tet Remix) on YouTube above and order the vinyl records on the Stones Throw webstore for $20 USD.

Elsewhere in music, Nipsey Hussle's estate has filed a lawsuit against the Crips over their use of the popular "The Marathon Continues" slogan.
