diy inspiration: dries van noten chunky knit

I’m suffering today. Post-Disney jetlag coupled with a weekend featuring Ikea, curtain making and the French mother-in-law, I’m bushed. All I want to do is climb into my winter woolies and sit on the couch watching old episodes of Frasier.

My sartorial choice du jour would be this piece of gorgeousness by Dries Van Noten, but its US$1094 price tag is a little on the hefty side for something I’m likely to spill my morning/afternoon/evening latte on. I’m thinking I’ll knit one instead.

Yes, that’s exactly what I’ll do – once I have the energy, of course.
