MY DIY | Hexagon Cork Memo Board

I love an inspiration wall, and after finding these thin cork hexagons, I knew I wanted to double them up and add a chain to create a group of hanging memo boards. They are stylish and functional, perfect for tacking up my current to-do list, plus the items that are currently sparking my creativity. Adding a little paint on each hexagon instantly ups the design factor, and allows you to customize to compliment your space’s color scheme. I arranged the cork board with my favorite photo booth strips (how cute are my parents!) inside Command™ Brand Decor Tile frames, to create the perfect creative space to brainstorm my next DIY! Step and supplies after the break…

What you need:
Two cork boards
Chain
Needle nose pliers
Spray paint
Painter’s tape
Scotch® Double-Sided Tape Applicator
Scotch® Quick-Dry Adhesive

Note: Follow all Scotch® Brand package instructions for proper application and approved surfaces.

What you do:
Step 1: Apply Scotch® Double-Sided Tape to the edges of one cork board. Place the second cork board on top of it and press firmly on the sides so that the two are completely attached.
Step 2: With a needle nose pliers, cut a desired length of chain so that thecork board is long enough to hang from the wall.
Step 3: Glue the chain to the upper outer edges of the cork board using Scotch® Quick-Dry Adhesive. Do this on the opposite side of the board and let dry.
Step 4: Next, tape off a section and add spray paint.
Step 5: Once dry, peel back the tape to reveal your inspiration board.
Step 6: Arrange on you walls with your Command™ Brand Decor Tiles. For instructions on how to hang,
