Not Another Black Midi Dress...

Yay it's leather jacket weather again! Well I say that, the reality of early Spring tends to be very confusing indeed. Take last Saturday for instance, I felt perfectly fine rocking my seven-year-old Topshop staple but then on Tuesday I felt like I was in a wind tunnel and needed all the layers. I just can't win! Luckily it was fine and dandy when these snaps were taken, there's just something about a midi dress with a shorter jacket. I have a few of these embroidered dresses from ASOS now, it's like an addiction. It's never a good idea to browse their random sales when bored because I will always find gravitate towards a waisted dress with some kind of boho detail. Please tell me off if this happens again!

Does anyone try to operate a wardrobe 'one in, one out' policy? Thankfully I did manage to find a similar style in my wardrobe that I know I can get rid of. I'm going to delve further into this mindset in a future post, but I always try to buy a better version of existing pieces and my old Topshop number seems a little too short now. I allowed myself a glittery shoes purchase too, I love this kind of chunky brogue shape worn with jeans or trousers and seeing someone recently with them on sealed the deal. Enough about clothes now, Winnie and I popped to The Chocolate Festival after doing the posey thing and had a bit of a pampering experience at the Lush stand. Surprisingly my chocolate cravings are not as plentiful as my shopping urges, but I may need to change my mind due to the chocolatey soaps on offer. Is it bad that I want this instead of the usual Cadbury's Creme Egg?
