Birthday flowers snapshots

Saturday I celebrated my birthday. Alberto prepared {and served} tons of pizza, I was in charge for flowers.
Under a hailstorm, I went to the florist close to home to buy some white and pink peonies and small flowers for my little vases.
In the afternoon the sun finally popped out and we went for a short walk to the city center. The evening was filled with laughs and red wine {I'm pretty sure the two things are related!} with our friends. A lovely and simple birthday.

Sabato ho festeggiato il mio compleanno. Alberto ha preparato {e servito} tonnellate di pizza, io invece ero responsabile delle decorazioni floreali.
Sotto una grandinata, sono andata dal fiorista vicino a casa per comprare alcune peonie bianche e rosa e piccoli fiori per i miei vasetti.
Nel pomeriggio finalmente il sole ha fatto capolino e ci siamo fatti una breve passeggiata in centro. La serata è stata piena di risate e vino rosso {sono abbastanza sicura che le due cose siano collegate!} con i nostri amici. Un compleanno semplice e piacevole.
