Easy holidays make up tips
¡Hola! Hace unos días Etnia Cosmetics me invitó a una taller de maquillaje para Navidad en el que aprendí algunos trucos que desconocía. En el post de hoy quiero compartir algunos trucos muy sencillos para estos días festivos en los que a todas nos gusta estar guapas.
Hello! Some days ago, Etnia Cosmetics invited me to take a holiday make up workshop, in whiche I learned some tips I didn't know. So, on this post want to share some of those easy tips for these special days.
1. Empezamos con una crema hidratante para preparar el rostro.
2. Después vamos con la prebase o primer, corrector de larga duración, base con color y polvos fijadores.
3.Seguidamente aplicaremos el contorno, el iluminador y el blush para marcar y resaltar las facciones. El contorno es el tono más oscuro, y sirve para marcar el rostro. Por eso, lo aplicaremos justo debajo del pómulo, dibujando una raya en diagonal, también en la línea del pelo, en la sien, en el contorno de la mandíbula y los laterales de la nariz.
Usamos el blush (o colorete) en pequeños toques encima de la mejilla que se nos marca cuando sonreímos.
Y finalmente vamos a iluminar y dar volumen con el iluminador. Empezamos por la zona T (frente, interior de la nariz y mentón), parte superior de los pómulos, en las cejas y zona interior de los ojos. Podéis seguir el tutorial de Keiko Lynn:

2. Then we use the primer, long lasting concealer, foundation and powder.
3. Next we apply contour, highlighter and blush to mark and highlight the face. The contour is darker, and we use it to mark the face. Therefore, we apply it just below the cheekbones, drawing a diagonal stripe, also in the hairline, temples, jawline and the sides of the nose.
We use the blush with small touches on the cheeck while smiling.
And finally we use the highlight on the T-zone -forehead, the middle of the nose and the middle of the chin-, upper cheekbones, eyebrowns and inner eye area.

4. Ahora viene el turno de los ojos. En mi caso, no suelo utilizar sombras de ojos muy a menudo, pero para las ocasiones más especiales me encanta la paleta nº6 de la colección Antarctic, que contiene 4 sombras diferentes que se complementan entre sí. Yo suelo utilizar tres sombras y el modo de empleo es muy sencillo para las poco expertas como yo: - Aplicar primero el color más clarito en el párpado y hacia el hueso de la ceja. - Extender el tono intermedio en el párpado, desde el interior hacia el exterior. - Aplicar el tono más oscuro en forma de V en la la esquina exterior. 4. Now it's time for the eyes. I usually don't use eye shadow, but I love the eye shadow palette n. 6 from the Antarctic collection. It has 4 different shadows that complement each other. I use three shadows and the it's very easy to apply them for those who aren't experts like me: - Apply the lighterst color on the eyelid and towards the brow bone. - Extend the intermediate tone on the lid, from the inside to outward - Apply the darkest shadow as a V on the exterior corner. 5. Después aplicamos el eyeliner dibujando una linea desde pasada la mitad del ojo hacia fuera. Curvamos las pestañas y les damos un par de capas con máscara para dar densidad y volumen, siguiendo este tutorial:
5. Then we apply eyeliner, drawing a line from the middle of the eye to outside. We curl the lashes and apply a couple of layers of mascara to get density and volume, following the steps of this tutorial:
6. Las cejas enmarcan el rostro, por eso no las podemos olvidar. Vamos a usar un delineador de cejas (el color va a depender de nuestro tono de ceja) y vamos a difuminar con un pincel para que quede más natural, como en este tutorial de Nyheter24. También se puede utilizar un gel para peinar y fijar la ceja. En Etnia Cosmetics tienen uno que se divide en dos, uno tiene color y sirve para modificar y corregir y el otro es transparente y sirve para dar forma, yo ya lo he añadido a mi wishlist.
6. The eyebrows frame the face, so we can't forget them. We use a pencil -its color depends on our eyebrow color- and blend with a brush to make it more natural, like this tutorial from Nyheter24. We can also use a gel to fix the eyebrow. In Etnia Cosmetics I discovered a gel divided in two, the first one is colored and can modify and correct, and the other one is transparend and is useful to shape, I already have it on my wishlist.
7. Y por último, es el turno de los labios. Como sabéis, soy adicta a las barras de labios, así que estos días son ideales para usar tonos más atrevidos. Ante todo, los labios deben estar bien hidratados, por eso, lo primero que hago es darme un masaje con pequeños círculos utilizando un bálsamo hidratante. Después, se puede aplicar un poco de base de maquillaje en los labios, para adherir mejor el color. El siguiente paso es el perfilador, que se aplica primero en el arco de cupido y en el centro de la zona inferior del labio. Después se une con las comisuras y se rellena la parte carnosa. Se puede usar un corrector alrededor de los labios, para darles una apariencia limpia y nítida. Es muy sencillo, podéis seguir el tutorial del blog Highlight Beauty:
7. And finally, let's go with the lips. As you may know, I am a lipstick addicted, so these days are ideal for use daring colors. First of all, the lips have to be well hydrated, so the first thing I do is give a massage with small circles using a lip balm. Then, we can apply some foundation on the lips to better adhere the color. The next step is the lip liner, which is first applied on the cupids bow and the middle of the bottom lip. Join them with the corners of the lips and finally fill in the lips with the lipstick. We can use a concealer around the lips to make them clean and crisp.
