Hey best friends! There's a really cool competition for Mexican bloggers out there, crafted by BOSSA and HelloFood, where you have to create an outfit inspired by food or drinks. I thought long and hard before I could decide what was the thing that could be associated with both fashion and food and the perfect idea came to me: champagne.
I don't know if I've said it before but champagne is my favorite drink (and it's also the one that I can handle really well, haha). I like the color and the illusionary texture that the bubbles create through the glass. The sparkle on my Converse and the threaded idea on the sweatshirt remind me of that. I also associate champagne with night and evening gatherings, that's why I paired a gold outfit with black.
For the accessories, I went a bit tough with spiked and metallic pieces because I feel like champagne may look soft but it's really not, it isn't sweet and it's definitely not delicate. You could say that I didn't go for the obvious but I rather chose to interpret a drink and create an outfit around the look and feel of it. What do you think, you like it? Cheers!

No sé si lo he dicho antes pero mi bebida favorita es champagne (y también es esa que puedo aguantar sin problemas y no me mata, jaja). Me gusta el color y la ilusión de textura que crean las burbujas a través del cristal. El brillo en mis Converse y el hilo metálico en la sudadera me recuerdan eso. También asocio el champagne con la noche y reuniones de tarde-noche, por eso combiné el atuendo dorado con negro.
En los accesorios quise ir un poco más rudo con piezas metálicas y con picos porque siento que el champagne puede verse suave pero no lo es, no es dulce y, definitivamente, no es delicado. Podrían decir que no fui por la idea obvia y mejor elegí interpretar una bebida y formar un atuendo alrededor de las cualidades estéticas y de sensación que tiene. ¿Qué opinan, les gusta? ¡Salud!
