Oh yes we did!!

The indie Wedding Dress Adventures... Volume 3.

Those who read this blog on a regular basis will know about the EPICALLY HORRIFIC STORY OF OUR WEDDING PHOTOS. For those of you who don't know the story of our wedding photos (Read HERE) Either way, to catch you up to speed (and to cut a long story short): we have none.

To put a bit of sparkle on a grey cloud and to make up for the lack of wedding snaps - we've decided to get our wedding kit photographed as MUCH AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. Some of you may remember that a little while back we were invited by three incredibly talented photographers to have a re-shoot of our wedding photos at Abingdon Wine Estate.

Soon after that awesome shoot - Husband and I decided to take our gear to Belguim and get kitted out at Tomorrowland Music Festival. (SEE THE EPIC PICS HERE).

Over New Year - we were on a family skiing trip in the French Alps.....

and well.....

it just had to be done.

Thanks SO much to awesome Davo-The-Dad-in-law who trekked up the mountain with us to snap these pics!

We had amassed a small crowd of onlookers who were curious to this whole hustle that was taking place. With many of them shouting, "Congratulations!". I did explain to three British ladies that we were actually married almost two years ago but we lost our wedding photos - so we are on a mission to re-claim them around the world.

Surprisingly it wasn't very cold at all -

until Warren threw snow at my chest:

(I didn't love it.)

ha!

I think this one below is one of my favourites -

And then I had to put it in black and white because.... photos in black & white in a wedding dress in the snow just look SO. DAMN. COOL.

And a few iPhone snaps of us in our Ski boots -

And there you have it! The adventures of the Wedding Kit continues!

PS. If anyone wants to sponsor us (and our wedding kit) with a trip to an exotic destination -
WE WOULD BE TOTALLY FINE WITH THAT.

(Side Note: My wedding dress was custom sketched/designed/made for me by Maryke - I took her about five hundred pictures and scraps and pieces of paper and lace and she designed my dress from ALL my thousands of ideas - she is so incredibly talented and my dress is EVERYTHING that I envisioned in my mind! Can totally recommend her!)
