Best Guy Ever!
Hey, Ladies… do you think you have the Best Guy Ever?
Well, it’s time for you to let them know!
Making a good “man” card can sometimes be an exercise in frustration
for some of us. So today, I’m sharing a card that any of us can get done
with some paper cutting and a single stamp!
Ready….here we go…
Cut two pieces, each one measuring 3 3/4″ X 5″.
position opposite corners along the cutting line of the trimmer.
There is a groove that the cutting blade runs down, each corner
should be centered over that cutting tract for this to work.
Use a piece of Post It Note tape to hold the
two cut pieces together. Turn the piece and
cut from corner to corner again.
Your finished cuts should look like this.
Take the two side pieces from the cuttings above,
and adhere them to the other 3 3/4″ X 5″ piece.
Layer that piece onto a silver sheet that’s cut to
3 7/8″ X 5 1/8″. Once the that’s done, place Stampin’
Dimensionals on the back of the silver sheet and layer
it onto a black card base.
For the greeting, cut a piece of black card stock to measure
1 3/4″ X 2 3/8″. Using the Best Guy Ever stamp, from the
Suite Sentiments set, stamp the greeting with a VersaMark
ink pad, and heat emboss it in silver.
Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, layer the embossed greeting
onto a 2″ X 2 5/8″ piece of silver, and then center that entire
piece onto the card base.
Finally…add some some bling!
Choose one of the 3 designs from the Urban Underground
Embellishments to add a little sumthin’. I chose the screws,
but there are also stars and bolts, perfect for this “man” card!
