craft: easy DIY harvest wreath

An open afternoon and we have ourselves a new harvest wreath! While the boys watched the Red Sox game, I grabbed some leftover fabric and a lonely hay wreath, and got to work.

When I say work, I mean that I cut strips of fabric 16 inches long and 1.5 inches wide and then just tied knots. So easy, that I actually had the guys tie some knots on too ... so easy!

When I finished all of my fabric, I actually had about a quarter of the wreath left to finish covering! I grabbed some complimenting fabric (the burnt orange) and started sporadically adding it around the wreath while moving the pumpkin print around. This just shows you that this project can really go anywhere you want it to go and it will still look great!

Time to get out those leaves and warm colors, and start decorating little bees!!
