valentine’s day gifts

So a couple weeks ago I was all, “Winter? I got this!” but lately…I gotta say it’s been getting me down. I’m trying to make an effort to get out of the house, even if it’s just for some fresh air.

I decided to give our neighbors little gifts for Valentine’s Day because I realized it’s crazy how hibernating during winter means you almost never see your neighbors! I recently got some alphabet cookie cutters and so I used this holiday as an excuse to bake and get a little crafty.

I’m always fascinated by the research behind happiness, and perhaps even more so during winter (when I need all the positive vibes I can get!). Helping others is said to increase happiness (proved by science) and I like to think any acts of kindness might work the same way. Delivering these Valentine’s Day cookies certainly lifted my spirits!

Head on over to The Neighborhood to download the free printable gift tags I made for Valentine’s Day. There are two versions – one for your neighbor and one for anyone you’d like!

How is your winter going? I hope you’re encouraged to spread a little bit of love this Valentine’s Day.

xoxo

P.S. I used Molly Jacques’ Kailey font to create these printables. :)
