Chanel Christmas Make Up: Plumes Precieuses De Chanel

Happy Monday Lovelies!
It's here! The Chanel Christmas Make Up collection finally launched in the UK on Friday & made me giddy with excitement when I went to view it & purchase my top picks.
I love the inspiration for the collection which is based around the luminous feathers & diamonds of Coco Chanels original jewellery collection.
The star of this collection (& top of my list) is most definitely the Camelia De Plumes highlighting powder which infuses silver & gold leaves shaped as a Camelia, with a tapered brush to apply to the cheekbones, eyes & decollete.

Here's a quick instagram I took of mine on Friday...

As good as it looks in the compact, it looks even better on skin...

Top: Camelia De Plumes Highlighting Powder
Bottom: Or Blanc Stylo Yeux Waterproof
Over the weekend I've been using both products & absolutely love them! The highlighter also makes for a great eye shadow, whilst the eye pencil looks fabulous on the lower lash line & in the corners of the eyes to highlight & widen.

Off the back of last years 5 ombres de Chanel, this year sees Les Oiseaux De Nuit with greys, black & precious metallics to create the perfect holiday party look.

To compliment & highlight the eye area is the lust worthy Or Blanc Stylo Yeux Waterproof. Use as a liner or on the inner/outer corners of the eye to accentuate & create a widening effect. This is my second top pick!

Here are the eyeshadows & the liner (far right) swatched...

Of course Christmas make up wouldn't be the same without a classic red lip & nail with both Le
Vernis Phoenix & Rouge Allure Velvet in La Flamboyante being limited editions.

If you're wearing bordeaux, pink or gold tones for the holiday season there are some warm peachy tones in the collection too, with the Illusion D'ombre Envol for the eyes, which can be worn alone or combined with the palette. For cheeks the joues contraste in Caresse is a warm peachy tone with silver highlights. The Rouge Allure in Volage is a peachy pink which is probably the closest we will get to a nude! (It really bugs me that Chanel don't do a decent nude lipstick!!!!!). Le Vernis in Vamp is the perfect bordeaux shade to compliment this look - personally I will be sticking to Rouge Noir or Malice which is incredibly similar.

Pretty much all the collection is limited edition, so is sure to sell out fast! What are your thoughts on the collection? Any must haves?
Wishing you all a wonderful week
