Fridays are the best days

I feel like at the beginning of the week, I'm wishing that the weekend had never ended, then we get to Friday and it feels like the week flew by. I'm not complaining that today is already Friday at all, but it is crazy how fast the weeks, months, and even years are flying. I never really believed those "old" people when they said life would go faster and faster the older you get but I think they may have been on to something.

1. Second Wedding of 2015. I will be photographing my second wedding of 2015 on Saturday and couldn't be more excited. It is at this beautiful old Fire station in Houston and I just can't wait to get my camera in that beautiful old building and capture the marriage of this precious couple. I absolutely love that my brides become like long lost friends throughout the process of photographing engagements, bridals, and last but certainly not least...their wedding day. It makes me all kinds of happy!!!

2. Dominican Here We Come. If you follow me on instagram, this is old news but Michael booked our 3rd anniversary trip to the Dominican Republic and I just can barely contain my excitement. We won't be traveling for a while but it's nice to have it to look forward to for sure. It has definitely kicked up my motivation to continue my workouts and eating healthy. Bring it on swimsuit season!

3. Speaking of eating healthy. I have officially found a new obsession. I'm probably late to the game/facebook group but the Beachbody Program and Shakeology have officially taken over in our household. Michael and I have been having shakes after our runs around the block or workouts and they are seriously the best thing ever. I started with a 10 day program and am now half way into the 21 day program and am slowly making progress on my terrible eating habits.

4. Men and Birthdays. Michael's birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I am stuck on what to get him. He really just wants to go out of town somewhere but I always get him a little something because who doesn't love opening up something on an event that comes around once a year?! NowI just need to figure out what. Any suggestions friends?

5. I Love My Job. My partner teacher had her students do a writing assignment for her yesterday and asked them to write about their role models. One of our precious students wrote about her and one of them decided to write about me. It seriously made my whole day that these precious babies love her and I and that we are providing them an environment that they know they are loved and supported. I wish I had a picture of the one that they wrote about her because it was the best. My favorite line was "The cop told me that Mrs. and Mrs. are the very best....and the cop was right".
