How to Prevent Smile Lines in Your Makeup

So I get asked this quite frequently – how to tackle those pesky laugh/smile lines that gather in your makeup. Over the years I’ve just learned to embrace them as a sign of a happy life, but why should it have to show on my face?! Here are my top tips on how to minimize and hopefully prevent them altogether. Apply a decreasing eye primer They work to minimize creasing of eyeshadow, so wouldn’t it be interesting to see if the same concept worked on smile lines? I’ve been testing out the Urban Decay Primer Potion by applying a very light layer before doing my foundation and find that this helps a lot. Stick to Mattifying Foundations Most of you with dry skin types probably don’t have to deal with this issue but those of us that have oily skin types which force the makeup to break down and slip more, stay AWAY from dewey finish foundations. I find that these crease more than my matte foundations which stay put throughout the day.
