Downtown Los Angeles Penthouse Wedding // Robbielhyn + Mitchell

Even as a Los Angeles wedding photographer it’s not every day that I am approached with an opportunity to photograph a dreamy rooftop wedding ceremony in the heart of Downtown LA. So, when I first met with Robbielhyn and Mitchell at a walk through of their venue I instantly knew that their wedding would be one for the books and most likely one of my favorite weddings of 2014! And I was not disappointed! From the lively wedding party who made the day so much fun and the bride’s one-of-a-kind crop top wedding gown to the amazing views from the LoftSeven Penthouse and their homemade dessert bar, I absolutely loved everything about this special day.

We started the morning at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel in downtown where the bride and groom separately prepared for the big day ahead with close family and friends. Next we made our way down around Los Angeles City Hall for Mitchell’s first look at his beautiful blushing bride as well as the bridal party pictures. I was pleasantly surprised that there were so many amazing backdrops and unique settings for a fun urban atmosphere that showed off the beauty of Los Angeles, which was a good change of pace for me since I am typically drawn more towards nature settings! From there we headed to the ceremony/reception venue, LoftSeven Penthouse, where Robbielhyn and Mitchell said “I do” and partied the night away as Mr. and Mrs. Touch!

Los Angeles wedding photography is some of my absolute favorite! This city is so full of life, light and adventure and I simply adore capturing couples’ sweet love story in the city of angels!
