Painting Little Miss Pickle
The days between Christmas and New Year's are always the quietest for us. We stayed home to enjoy movies and time with Pickle, spring-cleaned and decluttered our wardrobe, ready for the new year.
With markets and sewing-bags-to-sell out of my mind, I spent a hot Sunday painting Pickle's portrait. It reminded me of how fun and therapeutic it can be with a paint brush in your hand... However, I'll have you know that after 3 touch-ups, I am not completely satisfied with the portrait. (Her front toes aren't that white! She is fuzzier! Not the right colour!)
We foresee more canvases in 2015.
