Pregger Update: 26 Weeks
How Far Along: 26 weeks!
Size of Baby: Lincoln is the size of a head of lettuce– about 14 inches long and weighs between 1.5 to 2.5 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: I am wearing all maternity pants, but can still make some regular shirts fit if I put a tank top on underneath and leave it unbuttoned with a belt.
Stretch Marks: Burt's Bees belly butter has been doing the trick. No sign of stretch marks yet! Sleep: I am sleeping pretty good except for the routine potty run around 3am. I always fall right back asleep though once I hop back in bed. It is getting hard to switch sides I lay on. I have to fling myself to the opposite side and last night I flung myself right in to Matt's boney elbow! Ouch. Tears definitely came in the middle of the night, no black eye though.
Best Moment of the Week: Feeling Lincoln do what I think is jumping jacks in my belly. This little fella is very active!
Movement: He usually moves most in the morning and at night, but if I get a chance to sit down at work he makes his presence known. It's so fun to watch my belly move.
Cravings: Nothing particular
Gender: Boy! Lincoln Grey
Belly Button In or Out: In
Wedding Ring on or Off: I have developed some sort of allergy to my wedding ring. I'm not sure if pregnancy hormones are to blame for the change in my skin, but for right now my rings are off until the rash heals. No swelling in my fingers though.
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: I feel great!
What I Miss: Being able to lay on my stomach.
What I am Looking Forward to: We have our 3D/4D ultrasound next week, so I am looking forward to seeing what Lincoln looks like!
Labor Signs: No, thank goodness.
Nursery: Nursery has been complete for about 6 weeks. It is adorable and I will do a post soon with a nursery reveal.
Emotions: I am a happy preggo. I have uncontrollable laughter at times. The kind where you cry and almost pee in your pants. It's awesome.
