At the end of January we visited my host grandparents and aunt who has a pony, or at least I call it a pony, and a horse. The pony was so cute and my host mother took this really cute picture of the pony and me. It was very cold, thus I had to wear this thick jacket and some cowboy boots which kept me warm. I know I dressed awfully!
I'm starting to believe that it's getting a little bit warmer here, even a couple of days ago during the day it went up to 40F/ about 4-5°C, which is "warm" here. I'm very jealous of my friends back home that they can enjoy sun and warm 15-20°C.
By the way, I know it doesn't sound that much fun, but I signed up for Golf as a spring sport, besides that I just could've picked Softball or Track. I personally don't like running and I've never played Softball before so I wouldn't have any chance to be in the Softball team, which is a bit sad. However, I already know nearly the whole Golf team and I know that we will have fun. I've never played real Golf, not Minigolf, before, so I'm a bit excited to start and learn how to play it.
Last week we had our International Night were all the foreign exchange students with others presented their countries on a poster and everyone could come and get to know all the countries. It was pretty much fun!

Ende Januars besuchten wir meine Gastgrosseltern und Tante, welche ein Pony, oder wie man dieser Art sagt, und ein Pferd hat. Das Pony war sehr süss und meine Gastmutter hat dieses herziges Fotos vom Pony und mir geschossen. Es war sehr, sehr kalt, weswegen ich so eine dicke Jacke und Cowboyboots tragen musste. Ich weiss, dass ich "schrecklich" angezogen war.
Ich glaube, es fängt an hier wärmer zu werden. Es war vor einigen Tagen am Tag sogar 40F oder 4-5°C, was für uns hier warm ist. Ich beneide all meine Freunde von Zuhause, dass die schöne 15-20°C haben. Wie typisch, dass der Winter wo ich nicht zuhause bin, ein sehr warmer ist.
Nur nebenbei, ich habe mich für Golf als Frühlingssport angemeldet. Da ich persönlich nicht gern renne passen Track und Softball nicht zu mir. Softball wäre noch cool gewesen aber ich bezweifle dass ich das Team gemacht hätte.
Letzte Woche hatten wir International Night, wo Austauschschüler mit anderen ihr Land ein Poster gestalteten und es allen, die kommen wollten zeigten. Es war sehr viel Spass!
