Blogmas#20 - First Impressions: 3 Revlon Lip Products (Perfect Festive Shades)
I've never done a first impressions video, and seeing as I had just bought these three Revlon lip products, that I thought it would be the perfec time to do one.
As mentioned in the video, I picked up these three Revlon lip products in Boots on offer; you got a Matte or Luster Balm for free, if you spent over €13. I decided to take advantage of this offer, as I wanted all three lip products.
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in 240 Striking - I've already mentioned how much of a fan I am of these balms, so knew I would love this matte red colour. Looking at it in the packaging, I originally thought it would have a hint of coral in the shade, but in fact it's a classic red. I did find myself having to reapply this product a couple of times throughout the night I wore it, as it wore off in the center of my lips. That being said it did slightly stain them, and I really like the minty feeling it left on my lips, so really liked wearing this product.
Revlon Colorburst Moisture Stain in 040 Shanghai Sizzle - I was left with a very good first impression when I first applied this product, as the colour was so vibrant and beautiful. It was also very easy to apply, due to it's applicator shape; which is more rounded and flat, with a nice pointy tip, making applying the product a doddle. I found this product to be very long lasting, as it dried on my lips, and barely budged throughout the night. Looking forward to picking up some more shades from this line.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in 477 Black Cherry - I had been wanting this product for such a long time, and must say I'm so happy to finally have it, as it hasn't disappointed. I haven't gotten the chance to wear it on a night out, but I did test it around my house the other day, and was really impressed with how well it lasted. I am going to have to play around with some makeup looks, to find one which will match with this lip shade. Also, think a little fake tan wouldn't do me any harm.
I took photos of how each product looked on me in between filming, but must say I had some weird lighting issues going on, as I promise I'm really not as pale as what you see in the video or photos.
