It’s Too Cold To Be A Style Blogger

Don’t believe the hype of these style bloggers in winter. Despite how perfect and kute things look in their pictures many of them are out here freezing they’re ass off for a style post. I should know, I tried.

God bless any girl – blogger or not- who can work the cold in style. Idk how some of them are doing it and in stilletos sans stockings or tights, no less. I had a hard enough time trying to take photos in all my combat winter gear- I could NOT image anything less. If the low temperatures don’t get you the hawk ( aka strong ass winds) will. The meteorologist said its the coldest it’s been in 15 years. Hence the reasons why I’ve been M.I.A. as of late, that and work.

But at least I tried. Rarely, if ever do I pull out this shearling coat but when I heard the weatherman say frigid, negative and some other freezing adjectives I figured it was time to stop playing and pull out this shearling coat from my college days at Binghamton University (Class of none of your business) Shoutout to my mom who started and supported my fly habits early on. Funny, how grey is so damn trendy now. See, thats why I never throw anything away.

While the coat kept me beyond warm, it was all still no match for the gust of winds that ripped into my face- Peep the tears rolling down my face. BTW shoutout to my photographer, knightmare 6, who none of these photos – good or bad- would be possible without. Thanks God he actually likes the cold.

We did manage to capture a few good shots. If you didn’t know any better you’d think it was all easy breezy.

Nah. Moral of the story, style blogging aint as easy as it looks or as many make it appear so thank your favorite style blogger’s for all they do to bring your fresh new content through the winter. Even if it’s not real, they braved the cold to make it look like it is.
