Color Me Red

One of my style resolutions this year was to be more bold. I've been so inspired by colors this year and I feel like that's showing in my posts lately. One color that I love but tend to shy away from when it's not isolated to accessories is bold red. Not just any red but bold tomato red that takes credit for the whole outfit. That kind of red. I found this skirt at Loft and realized this is the color I've been missing. I can see it paired with so many colors -- blue, pale pink, grey, navy and of course black and white like this striped sweater here.
Speaking of this shade of red, Loft must have been reading my mind when they picked their palette this month. Or maybe that's where I got that idea from... either way I'll probably take credit for it, ya know?
