Little Miss Sunshine

I'm trying not to mourn the loss of sunshine around here as we are getting dumped with rain again this week. I've decided I like rain when it doesn't mess with outfit photos or my hair. Good for the Earth, not great for hair. Oh those photos up there? Those are of happier times AKA this weekend when sunshine was abundant and cheap soda flowed like water. I know two things about myself now: I need sugar and I need sunshine and when one of those goes missing, things start to look bleak around here.
*Small rain induced rant over.* On to happier things like this happy little sundress (under $100!). Doesn't it just make you smile? It's actually quite perfect for summer because it's lightweight but not sheer. Very important if you are going to be in the sun. Sheer and sun do not mix, this I know. But they will get you attention. Lots and lots of unwanted attention.
In other news, I picked up these MK wedges on sale at Nordstrom. As you know, I'm a wedge connoisseur and I've been wearing this other pair non-stop. But as to not wear those out before the end of summer, I got this Michael Kors pair as an alternative and to give a different look. Plus they were on sale. Wedges on sale are my weakness. But wedges on sale when it's raining outside and I haven't had my dose of daily caffeinated sugar and sunshine? I didn't stand a chance.
