A Christmas Card from Kendra

Everyone knows the holiday season is a time to be thankful, and this year I am especially thankful for my three boys, for making me see Christmas through a child’s eyes. As adults, we so often let the magic of Christmas slip through our fingers and let the most beautiful time of year pass us by unnoticed. But watching my one-year-old experience the holidays for the first time is so magical. To see him marvel at the twinkling of Christmas lights or at an ornament on our Christmas tree, it makes me look at those same things we walk past everyday in a whole new light. We should all appreciate the magic of this wonderful day, and many grown ups take it for granted. This year, let’s all channel that innocent wonder of our children and rekindle the magic of Christmas. And to me, the true magic of the holiday season is found when you’re with the ones you love.
