Stars are Wearing Their Jewels on Their Gowns at the 2015 Oscars

Embellished gowns are everywhere at this year's Academy Awards. However, one particular adornment has caught our eye: pearls. We noticed the delicate design detail on a number of stars in all different shades. See how each leading lady put her own spin on the trend.

Lupita Nyong'o wowed us with the ultimate pearl-embellished gown: a stunning couture number from Calvin Klein Collection featuring 6,000 pearls.

The Theory of Everything star Felicity Jones went for a Cinderella moment with her silver full-skirted gown by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. Her beaded bodice boasted the popular high-neckline that was seen on many runways during New York Fashion Week, and the actress embellished softly with silver jewelry and a matching clutch.

Chrissy Teigen went for a much racier look with the help of her go-to designer Zuhair Murad—not to mention Angelina Jolie's infamous pose. The soft blue shade and delicate pearls were contrasted by her plunging V-neck sheer bodice, high slit, and dark lips and nails.

Anna Faris' own belted gown had a more classic feel. The strapless cream A-line dress included both pearls and crystals.
