Evangeline "Evie" Outlaw has been living in emotional limbo ever since the love of her life, Brody Outlaw, up and left her with triplets to raise on her own in a hostile and unwelcoming town. Now her boys are men and independently carving out their own lives, but still living under the shadow of her husband's lineage. The terrible Outlaw curse.
It isn't until River Pearl Sutton comes crashing into her son Braxton's life that Evie gets a wake-up call in the form of intensely sexy Winchester Sutton, River's uncle. A sophisticated, international food critic. He's a man that is hard to ignore with his soft, slow accent, his ice blue eyes that are full of fire, and a body that makes her remember what it was like to be desirable.
But, Win is a Sutton and she married into the Outlaw curse, a woman who spawned the Outlaw Unholy Trinity, a woman who is still technically married. She'd held onto the memory of Brody for thirteen years, never giving up hope he would come back, never believing that he left her voluntarily.
But Win is flesh and blood real, pursuing and charming. Can she find the kind of deep, abiding love she had for Brody?
Or will her loyalty and the bias gossip of the town tear her apart.
Can she finally again find love
Finally Again is a Hope Parish novel. It's best if the series is read in order.

SPOILER ALERT – Do not read unless you have read Book #3 of the Secrets Series
Evie has been abandoned by the love of her life Brody. She was left to raise triplet boys by herself. She was able to be a great mother and was able to support them. However, the family name “Outlaws” was forever tarnished all the way back to the 1800’s. Brody suffered the same fate as well as any woman he married and his innocent children all because of a name.
When Brody Outlaw abandoned his wife and 3 children he was also accused of embezzlement, further tainting the family name. The Outlaws already had a bad rep from their last name handed down the family line but now with more ammo the town despises them for even breathing.
Not everyone feels the same but if you are seen with an Outlaw you will suffer the same fate.
Winchester Sutton comes from the wealthy family of the town. His family is known for their Pecan business. Winchester is James’s brother and James’s children Chase, Jake, and River have pretty high standards to live up to. Chase was supposed to take over the business but decided to give up all the family had to offer to live his own life and open a little shop that sells Seafood to local restaurants, rents airboats and gives tours, and supplies bait for the fisherman extraordinaire. Which leave Jake and River to have to fill the shoes. Jake is on the way to run the business even if he does not want to and River is a high fashion model who wishes she could have a career in the art world instead. James forbid Chase and Jake to hang with the Outlaw boys even though the boys loved each other like brothers growing up. River is very interested in hooking up with Braxston Outlaw and Brax has always wanted River.
With all of this going on between the families Evie gets Win’s attention. Even though Win knows who Evie is he wants her anyway and James is the only one in the family that carries about the family name being soiled by the Outlaws. So family be damned he is going for Evie.
This book takes place simultaneously with Book #3 which is River and Braxton’s story of how they got together and the rough patches they encountered along the way. Rough patches being the Outlaws reputation and James specifically.
Evie is afraid to take a chance on Winchester. She is still expecting Brody to come back to her. She feels in her heart that he must be dead because he would never leave her. But without knowing for sure Evie holds onto him tightly with no closer and no opening to her future with another man.
Winchester stands up to James about the Outlaws and to let the past go. Win tells James let River be with Braxston and don’t push your children away. And to mind his own business when it comes to his affairs. James throws Winchester out. Evie tells Winchester it is too difficult and they should not continue the relationship.
As the drama unfolds and the Sutton’s and Outlaws become more entangled with one another the truth comes out about Brody and the reason for his disappearance. As you read in Book #3, Brody was killed by Earl (River’s distant and creepy cousin). River and Chase are both saved from death by Braxston. Braxston is shot and rushed to the hospital. Earl meets his death in the same way he killed Brody and the truth is set FREE. The history of the family is also revealed further clearing the Outlaw name.
Upon the news of her son being shot and the finality of her husband’s death, Evie is able to tell Winchester that she wants another chance with him. James and his wife have to eat crow and everyone is free to date whom they want.
I think because this is a novella there were not as many details as the author could have put into a full length book. I like the story and I’m glad that she has made Evie’s character happy. And that she has given the Sutton’s and the Outlaws a fresh start. I did feel that it lacked a little passion for the couple. Maybe because it was not as steamy as the others in the Secret series.
