It’s Monday, and many of you are probably still finishing the school year! If you haven’t prepared yet an “end of the school year gift” for your teacher(s), I have a very easy craft you could give as part of a gift. Please take a look below at more photos and a brief tutorial. Now, once you make these golden mini notebooks, it will be very tempting to want to keep them for you! So I advice you make a few so you can keep at least one. You can never have too many mini notebooks around the house.
I only made one of this and it was a bit hard to give it away! This notebook was part of a small gift basket I made for one of my son’s school teacher. I paired it with a few stationery items and a hand written note.
I’ve used a few Kraft rectangular baskets from Target’s $1 section. They are pretty sturdy and easy to paint with the same gold metallic paint I used for the notebooks. This craft took approximately 45 minutes from start to finish. I enjoyed making these so much, and I’d like to try a silver metallic paint next time around. Thank you for visiting kraft&mint and ready this post. I hope you are having a fantastic end of the year school season ;)
