For those of you skeptical about the chicken and waffle combination, please reconsider. I am as health conscious as the next girl, but every tasty carb is worth it in this delicious, taste bud pleasing meal! Amy Ruth’s in Harlem is the home of soul food. Every time I go, I promise myself I will try something new on the menu,; however, that has yet to be checked off the food bucket list. The buttery, fluffy waffles topped with crispy, succulent chicken, is beyond words. The taste cannot be explained. Do yourselves a favor, forget the carbs and the hour on the treadmill in the morning, it is worth every calorie!

I take all NY newbies to this restaurant, needless to say, I am always happy and welcoming to visitors!
