ILNP – Electric Carnival

As promised last week, here is my post dedicated to ILNP’s Electric Carnival. This polish from ILNP’s Ultra Chrome collection lives up to its name, with flakies that seem to glow with flashes of pink, red, gold, and green.

The formula is excellent; the flakes lay flat and apply evenly. If you want full coverage, at least three coats is necessary.

Here is one coat over bare nails:

Electric Carnival comes to life over Zoya India (a deep red with gold shimmer). Easily my favorite combo over the last few months. The red base seems to make the colors even more vibrant; the shift even more dramatic.

Finally, here it is over Nails Inc Baker Street. This is a combination I’d seen in a few places and just had to try. It’s great, right?

I’ve had this polish since it released in late 2014 and my bottle is already half gone. I should order a backup… and maybe a few others from the Ultra Chrome collection while I’m at it.
