House Envy: Ridiculousness in Paris

Let’s be honest, when mouldings are this good – this intricate, perfectly scaled and immaculately carved, you could fill a space with garbage and it would still sing. Lucky for us, there’s nary a piece of garbage in sight. In fact, it just so happens to be filled to the brim with unexpectedly modern pieces, which I just so happen to love. Oversized art is paired with vintage oil portraits. Crisp lines make a statement next to ornate details. And the place in its entirety feels like waking from a blissful dream. As if it could get any better, toss in some white-washed herringbone floors and I’m putty in your hands. Oh, and did I mention the entire thing can be found in Paris? Of course it can be found in Paris! They don’t make em’ like this anywhere else. Home to talented designers, Gilles & Boissier, you’re going to want to take a minute to pore through the rest of this glam Paris apartment…
