As much as I love playing with makeup and trying out new things, my eye makeup game has stayed relatively the same until recently. A few weeks ago I tried out Buxom‘s customizable Eyeshadow Bar, and I have been converted into a lover of eye shadow. With over 40 pigmented shades to choose from, I can easily change up my palette to match my mood. My favorite part is creating new color combinations based on my next travel destination. Since I keep my look rather light when I travel to tropical destinations, I create a palette of soft nude, peach, and brown tones. If I’m running off to New York, I create a darker palette with sultry shades of silver, grey and black. The best part is that each color is already primer-infused so it’s an extra step I no longer have to take. For today’s beauty looks I went with my tried and true combination of soft hues for day time, pumped up with a dark brown cat eye for night.
