Sam and I love taking short trips and making them into mini romantic getaways. The desert is usually where you’ll find us. We love to explore boutique hotels like the Korakia where we spend our days lounging and feeling like we’re thousands of miles away.

On these types of trips I generally stay pretty casual with my beauty routine. After a lazy day by the pool, the last thing I want to do is fuss with my hair. Recently I’ve been trying out Wella Professionals Elements line of hair care products for those days when I want an easy, beachy style, that also won’t leave my hair damaged. This new line is sulfate, paraben free, and smells delicious!

I start with a hydrating mask, the Elements Reconstructing Mask does wonders for my hair after the pool. It totally restores the moisture and strength in my hair. Next I spray my hair with Elements Leave In Conditioning Spray and scrunch my hair to give it some shape. I’ll do this a few times through as my hair air dries. When the hair is dry, I like to add a loose braid or two around the front of the face to add some extra texture. I pair it with dewy makeup and a maxi dress for an easy casual date night.
