Photo Diary: My Cinderella DIY Blogger Luncheon

Last week I celebrated the launch of my Disney Cinderella collection for LC Lauren Conrad with a lovely little luncheon. It has been so exciting to watch this collection come to life. I had been working on it for a long time, and am very proud of every single piece. So, Kohl’s and I decided to throw soiree with some of my favorite ladies (and gents).

My longtime prop stylist and friend Kate Martindale designed the event with me, and she did such an incredible job. The weekend before, we went to the flea market to pick up some finishing touches, and I have to say I am so happy with how everything turned out. The décor looked gorgeous, the food was delicious and every detail was perfectly planned (right down to the sugar cubes in the shape of mice!). And since no afternoon would be complete without a little DIY session, we also had everyone decorate a pair of their very own Cinderella slippers, which happen to be a pair of flats from my LC Lauren Conrad collection. It was a very sweet afternoon.

For those of you who couldn’t be there, here are some photos from the event…

Before my guests arrived, we made sure that every single detail was perfect…

Some of my favorite pieces from the collection were on display…

A couple more of my favorite looks from the collection.

I wanted all of my guests to be able to look through the entire collection, so we had every piece displayed on a gorgeous vintage clothing rack.

Then it was time for the guests to arrive!

We had a bellini bar, so everyone could sip on some bubbly while mingling and taking a peek at the collection.

After the cocktail hour, it was time for lunch (and dessert, too!).

Finally, we were ready to DIY. Each guest was given a pair of these blue scalloped ballet flats from the collection. We had a long crafting table where everyone could decorate their flats any way they wanted. Kate and I had gone shopping at flea markets to pick up some vintage treasures that we could use to adorn the flats.

The crafting was definitely my favorite part of the afternoon.

Making some bow details for a pair of Cinderella slippers.

I’m pretty in love with these flats from the new collection.

It was such a lovely afternoon, and I’m so happy that the collection is now available! Thank you to everyone who helped to make it so beautiful, and also to those of you who came out to celebrate with me.

Which piece from the Cinderella collection do you like the most?

XO Lauren
