Lua P.

Interview with The Style Line

A couple of weeks ago I had the lovely chance to get together with Rachel, the founder of the Style Line, an online destination in search of stories and style from different people from around the globe. These are just a couple of pictures and a little bit of what we talked about but you can check the full feature here!

I’m Luanna but everyone calls me Lua. I’m Peruvian and grew up in Peru until I turned 19 which is when I decided to drift from my career in literature and pursue my main dream which was working in the fashion industry. What I enjoy the most is art in all forms –

What is one question you wish people asked you more often?

I actually get so many emails asking me who does my hair and how I ended up in New York. I wish I could tell everyone somehow that I do my hair by myself and that I just did what I could to come to here! I think it is so important to let people know we can all do anything we want to do by ourselves if we just set up a goal and go ahead and do it. There is no secret anywhere, its all about attitude and trying to achieve what you want.

How do you celebrate personal style?

I just wear what I feel like wearing, and nothing makes me happier than seeing someone walking confident in their own skin wearing whatever they please. No matter how crazy or simple it is, we are all unique and I think style is about attitude and wearing what makes you comfortable.
