Millennium Hilton Hotel – Bangkok

Hello everyone, this is my last article about my trip to Thailand a few weeks ago. This time i am showing you an hotel i stayed at before flying back to Germany.

When i came to Bangkok in December i booked an hotel on Sukhumvit. The reason : simply because i saw the air train was close to the hotel so i knew it would be easy to move around. This is the kind of things you’re looking for when you’re new in a city.

Again when i arrived in Bangkok for this trip, before going to Surin and to the Island, the organization i came with booked us a very nice hotel on Sukhumvit.

So when i came back to Bangkok i took the opportunity to change the location and stayed on the other side of the city, at the Millennium Hilton hotel, that is overviewing the Chao Phraya River.

This part of Bangkok is very different than around Sukhumvit, not as busy and very close to the temples : Wat Pho and Wat Arun.

For this part of Bangkok to move around, you will have to take the taxis (not expensive at all so it’s fine) or the Hilton boat that will bring you to the Air Train.

Millennium Hilton Bangkok highlights.

First of all Millennium Hilton Bangkok is great for everyone who like to have an hotel with a view. So the highlight were the room (mine had a view on the Chao Phraya i’m not sure all room does though, you should ask), the swimming pool that is an infinity pool with sundecks in the swimming pool (so amazing) and for evening drinks the Three Sixty bar that is both inside and outside with a view on the city. I stayed inside and enjoyed a live jazz band, perfect for a calm evening, outside was playing a DJ so the atmosphere was a bit more dancy.

Who should stay at Millennium Hilton Bangkok?

I suggest to stay at Millennium Hilton Bangkok if you want to have a relaxing time in Bangkok, maybe at the end of your holiday. The location is perfect to visit the temples, take a cruise on the Chao Phraya river, enjoy the sunday brunch at the Flow in the hotel.
