Most of the time, I always say good things about who I deal with. I said, most of the time.
I was looking for a jacket for my husband when I found this company in the USA. They make clothing for active people and working clothes that could take the weather and the roughness that comes with handy jobs. I was impressed by what I read and I thought that maybe my husband would want one of their jackets.
I made the transaction online on 25 November. On the 9th of December, I followed up my order and I got an e-mail that the transaction was cancelled because I did not give them my physical address (I usually give only our Post Box Number). At first, I thought I did not. I looked at all the e-mails I got and I sent and found an e-mail stating of the approval of the shipping costs and my address and phone numbers. Usually, they send an automatic reply that the e-mail has been received (not necessarily read!)
The order was cancelled without even informing me!
I called the customer service and asked them what happened and they told me the same things that I did not send anything. Although upset, I ddn´t want to look for another wind proof jacket. I talked to 3 customer service agents on the 9th. The last one for 45 minutes. She was very kind but not very experienced on international orders.
I had another e-mail after 2 days I got an e-mail that the transaction on my card did not go through. I called them (again). Plus, they still didm´t get my address. In fact, I called them 3 times that night - drop calls. I gave them my card number again and then they said that it will be okay.
I regret that I went through with the buy. I spent more than 2 hours just talking to customer service. They are polite and they say all the right things but the transaction for just 1 jacket was terrible. I don´t know if the quality of this jacket is as good as they say it is but I don´t want to go through all these one more time. The jacket will probably not be coming for Christmas because they sent the jacket through postal service. I asked for another type of shipment and I was willing to pay for it but they said that they do not have other options.
Their online system for international order was terrible. We´ll just have to wait and see if this is worth the irritation I had.
