my funny valentiiines!

valentine's day! such a good day to be a girl, yes? our sweet man of the house here spoiled us with hand delivered starbucks, unicorns, and roses... and what more could you ask for, really? not much, i say!

and so, our little heart chocolates made their way out of the fridge, and handmade love notes were shared. actually, as i was writing a little love note for maddalena early that morning, she asked what i was doing and i told her i was making her a valentine. she genuinely and so sweetly responded, "well... i wish i had something for you..." and my heart broke into pieces!! i love her so much it's just bananas.
later on, we headed to the farm to celebrate my brother stephen's 25th birthday, too! because we just really seem to specialize in combo birthday holidays, which is super great and extra-delicious. anyway, we are just so proud of stephen and all his 25 whole years! he's a really wonderful person to love, and iiiiii sure love him lots and lots.

anyway, on our drive home that evening, stevo and i kind of tried to recall all of our past valentine's days together, and the first one we couldn't even remember! thinking back right now... i remember a box of chocolates?! but it's funny to realize how many there have been at this point, from heart-shaped pizzas in a fraternity house to michael buble tickets and candlelit dinners to nights at home with a baby. and still there's nooobody i'd rather be my boo on the day of love and every day. <3

and! ps. that valentine's saturday also brought an official 20 week baby bumpy, and whoaaa nelly! that's the halfway mark for little baby number two! crazy, crazy, the craziest!
