Le Parfum Comme Une Evidence from Yves Rocher: Review

Yves Rocher is a brand that just keeps surprising me, they offer so many different products which are all available at great prices and for that amount offer value for money.

Recently I have been using one of their perfumes; Le Parfum Comme Une Evidence. I believe I have admitted this before, but just in case I shall admit it again – I am easily drawn to products (fragrances especially) by the packaging and I definitely decided I needed to try this one because of the beautiful bottle it sits in.

Of course sometimes looks can be deceiving so I was interested to see what I thought of this perfume I had chosen solely on its visual.

This pretty perfume is said to feature top notes of amber, violet leaf and nutmeg, heart notes of Jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and rose, while the base consists of patchouli, musk, oakmoss, woody notes and praline.

This bottle is really easy to use, the pear-spray twists a quarter of the way around to lock and unlock and then you just squeeze the pump to realise a burst of fragrance.

The perfume has a deep woody scent to begin with that softens off slightly into a more floral fragrance. It doesn’t, to me, seem to really rely on the rose element of the scent which is good as rose doesn’t react well on me.

When it comes to staying power it gives you a moderate amount of wear time, on me that equates to around 4 to 5 hours and as this is probably more of an evening wear perfume, due to its heavy, sweet edge of the main floral heart, so you are getting just enough time to see you through the night.

If you are thinking about treating yourself to a new perfume any time soon then go on why not give Le Parfum Comme Une Evidence a try, after all the bottle IS so pretty and it smells really nice as well.
